Our 35 featured contributors here either write or come from about Afghanistan, Australia, British Isles, Cameroon, Canada, Europe, Iran, Singapore, South Africa, Tokyo, and the USA. This anthology is a collection of personal experiences rooted in the people and places these writers know or visited. The goal in publishing such travel writing is to counterbalance the fear based xenophobia that is epidemic in mainstream media and pop culture. We are all human, just doing our best, and stories such as these remind us of these similarities across the world. Together we’re building an international community, with contributors to the site from 64 countries, readers from 114, and over 56,000 site views in the first year.
